These are just great. Good for teaching your baby to learn to chew. They the perfect food for a baby who is learning how to eat independently. You don't have to worry about choking because these cakes literally melt in your mouth (I tried). Hand this to a baby and buy yourself about 5 minutes of peace while they munch away! Just a perfect little treat! They are as healthy as you can get - vegetable/fruit options, and fresh because they are wrapped in foil in two's. Also, you can take them anywhere, in their individual wraps, and they don't fill the baby up. They can still fit in their meal, it's just a good snack. Even since they say it dissolve like anything else supervise. These crackers are meant to "dissolve" and be safe for babies to gnaw on. In theory, supervise your baby. I received these products for testing purposes. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. PERFECT for babies that are teething or just starting solids. They dissolve super quick and are easy to gum, they're bigger so easier to hold for baby, and they last longer than the star-shaped puffs but seem very similar. The little 7-month-old LOVES them. I would still advise keeping an eye on them while they're eating, though, and don't give in the car or somewhere as they could be a choking hazard if they get too big of a piece or it gets stuck or something. PROS - Easy and convenient - Keeps baby busy during mealtime - Easy for baby to hold - Easy to travel with (they're individually packaged - 2 per bag - so you can put a few in the diaper bag when eating out)! - Dissolves quickly and easy to eat (even without teeth) - Flavors are good (yes, I taste all the baby's food before giving it to him) CONS - Can get sticky and messy - May be a choking hazard if too big of a piece goes into the mouth at once - BE CAUTIOUS!
