This umbrella is awesome. I've used it a few times already since getting it a few days ago, and it works perfectly. It was a little windy and this umbrella functioned perfectly, just as advertised. I would not call the Golf Umbrella “heavy” as much as really STURDY, but it keeps out the rain well. The construction feels extremely solid. The action is smooth, and especially when pushing the umbrella back in, you can feel the pole being a snug, well-lubricated fit, i.e. when you push down on the umbrella to fold it back up it slides very smoothly. My old umbrella's pole would noticeably wobble back and forth when folding it back up, so this was a welcome change.I highly recommend this Wsky Golf Umbrella Windproof - 62”Extra Large Oversize Umbrella .
