Worked great right out of the box! I was able to monitor two different types of meat or one meat and the grill temp. This digital thermometer with remote is great. It lets me keep track of the temperature of what I'm cooking, even when I'm two hundred feet away from it. What I love most about this digital thermometer, even though it was a bit intimidating at first, is the fact that it is super easy to use, ensuring me my foods is properly cooked for safety and well being.
